Job title: Facilities Maintenance

Location: Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park, FK9 4UR

Salary: £7.85 p/h - £9.77 p/h

Working hours: from 14 hours to 40 hours per week over 7 days.

Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park was opened to the public in 1970 and was, at the time, one of Britain’s first safari parks. With over 400,000 visitors a year, we are now one of the most popular visitor attractions in Scotland and offer a world-class visitor experience that is exciting, educational and fun.

The day-to-day duties

Facilities Maintenance staff must be hardworking, observant, enthusiastic and confident individual who will ensure a high standard of presentation is always achieved throughout the park

Duties will include:

• Litter picking
• Grass cutting
• General cleaning
• Sweeping
• Emptying bins
• You may also be working in the animal reserves at the entrance gates checking and supervising vehicles as they pass through the reserves.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required:

• Experience in Facilities Maintenance is desired but not essential
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
• A full clean driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
