Role: IT Infrastructure Support Analyst
Location: Mirfield, but some travel to other sites required
Salary: £26,000/pa
Hours: Full-time (37hrs per week)

At Hollybank, we support adults, young people, and children with profound and multiple learning disabilities to live their lives to the fullest. We provide support for education, enrichment, and day to day living as well as on-site nursing support where needed.

Our IT team are at the centre of ensuring our people and teams can stay connected and that we are providing a safe service to the people we support, our colleagues, and vistors to the Trust. It has never been more important to have access to quality technology and digital services, and without our dedicated IT helpdesk team we wouldn't be able to do this as successfully as we do!

Key aims of the role:

  • To provide guidance and advice on maintaining the server, networking and security environments, to plan and instigate hardware and software upgrades as required, and to ensure that planned processes have been completed satisfactorily. 
  • To support and monitor existing infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance work, backup and perform other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness and to provide cover on such tasks when required. 
  • To plan, manage and implement infrastructure projects as defined by Hollybank’s Strategic Plan
  • To liaise with external stakeholders and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware, networks and software. 
  • To regularly check logs and severs to ensure that they are properly patched and dealing with any issues.
  • To support with testing and rolling out software, with a particular emphasis on security
