Lecturer in Travel and Tourism

Appointments will not usually be made above point L10 (£17,936) and progression beyond point L10 is subject to the attainment of certain qualifications

Base: King’s Lynn

Hours: 22.5 per week, days to be agreed.

This is a temporary post to cover maternity available from January 2022.

The successful candidate will teach travel and tourism on vocational 16-18 study programmes at Level 1 and level 2. The role may also include teaching on our air cabin crew course and/or Business studies depending skills and experience. You must have a relevant degree in Travel and Tourism, Management. Experience in the travel and tourism industry and experience of teaching, training and working in schools, further or higher education is preferred. You must also have a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE) or equivalent or be willing to obtain one within the first 3 years of employment.  You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
