Progress Coach

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Location: College wide
Salary: Teaching and Learning Support 1: £16,558 – £18,058 per annum (actual salary for 40 weeks term time only)
In this position you would act as a coach to a designated cohort of students that are linked to specific curriculum areas, ensuring that the students are on the most suitable programme and level, monitoring their progress, performance, attendance and punctuality to ensure an excellent learning experience and successful completion of studies.
As a Progress Coach, you should:
- Experience of working with people who present with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and successfully coaching and motivating them to improve their performance
- Awareness of progression routes and support services available to students (internal and external)
- Have a GCSE in English grade ‘A-C’ or equivalent
- Have a GCSE in Mathematics grade ‘A-C’ or equivalent
