Service Manager - Endsleigh Gardens (Camden)

£36,911 - £40,780 per annum

37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to take up the management of Endsleigh Gardens Hostel, a key service in Camden’s Adult Pathway. The primary focus of this role will be to support, develop and manage a team to deliver a high quality, safe and recovery-focused service to 48 vulnerable adults.

The measure of success in this role will be to deliver on organisational and contractual key targets. You will be highly organised and self-motivated to lead a team to achieve this; for example ensuring a structure of the routine completion of H&S requirements, staff supervision and appraisal is maintained.

The service is of key strategic importance to the borough and you will be expected to work closely with Camden’s commissioning team. The successful individual will have experience of working with homeless or vulnerable clients, experience of joint working, and developing and sustaining good partnerships with external agencies including statutory and non-statutory providers.

As an experienced and dynamic manager you will be consistent and confident in identifying and addressing underperformance. Equally, you will employ a strategy for rewarding good performance, have the knowledge to provide advice and will motivate the team through a coaching and consultative approach.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.

If you believe that you have what we are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless, we would love to hear from you.

Closing Date: 10am, Tuesday 20 February 2018

Interview and Assessment Date: Thursday 1 and Friday 2 March 2018
