About our Bedford Elstow Nursery

Busy Bees in Bedford is a purpose built nursery situated within quiet surroundings in Progress Park – Elstow. We are ideally located next to the Park & Ride and accessible from the A6, A421, M1 and A1. 
Our beautiful nursery has bright and spacious rooms for all children to play, rest, sleep and eat, all with highly secure outdoor play areas fully equipped with age-appropriate facilities to play and explore. All rooms are carefully furnished to suit the interests and ages of children and are designed to be comfortable 'home from home' environments that provide children with unlimited opportunities to explore and develop. 

Key responsibilities:
Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

You need:
  • Experience within a private day nursery (Desirable)
  • A willingness to undertake relevant childcare qualifications in the future (Desirable)
  • A passion for child care and a genuine interest in child development
