Do you have the resilience and motivational and inspiring personality it takes to bring a rapid response to a vital service aimed at London’s rough sleepers? Then the No Second Night Out (NSNO) scheme could be your ideal next move.

Managed by St Mungo’s on behalf of the Greater London Authority, NSNO focuses on helping people who are new to rough sleeping on the streets of London. Our challenge is to help them off the streets quickly and, through our assessment hubs, help them find alternative accommodation so they don’t have to sleep out for a second night.

You will be based at the  North London Hub, where you’ll will play a central role in co-ordinating the day to day case work of Assessment and Reconnection workers; to ensure the undertaking of high quality casework with individuals. You will also manage a case load of clients and work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that clients move on from the service into the appropriate accommodation with the correct support in place.

To succeed, you will have experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating with stakeholders and external agencies to a high level; to build strong partnerships to deliver services. You will also have experience of client case management and an understanding of the importance of good practice in relation to case work.

The ability to coordinate a project or team in a homelessness service and provide reconnection advice, is also essential.  As is the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and the commitment to helping vulnerable people make positive changes in their lives.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and initiatives to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development
