Paisley Museum Re-Imagined is a £42 million redevelopment project due to be completed in 2022 which will reveal the stories associated with the internationally-significant collections of the museum and the people of Paisley and Renfrewshire.
We are looking for a solutions-focused, experienced, and self-motivated Collections & Conservation Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for developing conservation and collections management processes to help create accessible and object-rich displays. You will work with staff, and contractors to guarantee the timely delivery of objects for display. You will work with our design teams to develop visitor-friendly display solutions that deliver collections access. You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering significant scale conservation and / or collections management programmes.
As the signature project for the regeneration of Paisley town centre, the museum redevelopment is the key to unlocking the potential of Scotland’s biggest town. Join us at this exciting early stage of the project to oversee its successful delivery.
