You will be the 1st escalation point for the IT Support team, ensuring the security, support and guidance of IT Support.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Handle first and second line IT support and collaborate with third line support.
2. Write specifications for the purchase and upgrade of computers and related products, assisting in the development of long-term strategies and capacity planning for future desktop/laptop needs.
3. Diagnose reported infrastructure problems and implement appropriate resolutions with accurate documentation, where necessary escalating to the IT Infrastructure Engineer.
4. Undertake small to medium size IT projects which may include 2nd line support, for example relating to network, servers, security, cloud, and D365.

To be successful in this role the candidate will be proactive, a good communicator, able to take the initiative and responsibility for finding appropriate technical solutions and able to work collaboratively across departments and external parties.
