Position Overview:  Lead the operational supply chain team to ensure the supply of parts and products aligns with business needs.  The key to success is to ensure that best practice procedures and relevant KPIs are achieved for order book management, inventory management and supplier performance in line with our operational plan (OTIF/Inventory/buffer stock). 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain activities aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular reports and data analysis on supplier OTIF and inventory measures.
  • Manage supplier performance effectively, implementing improvement processes.
  • Support new product introduction and change management processes.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory targets, implementing waste reduction strategies.
  • Cultivate strong supplier relationships and manage communication.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.
  • Monitor on-time delivery and forecast accuracy, driving corrective actions as needed.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Ability to understand part technical specifications, read technical drawings, and understand BOM structures.
  • Understanding of all manufacturing processes required in the manufacture of components or assemblies bought in.
  • Strong communication skills - managing internal and external relationships is critical.
  • A growth mindset and the ability to show the entrepreneurial spirit, exploring opportunities for improvements.
  • Experience in leading high-performing teams.
