THE ROLE
The Property and Carbon Co-ordinator will coordinate the day to day work involved in the Woodland Trust’s land and property and carbon portfolio in Scotland. It will support the project management of the Trust’s estate and third-party Carbon Code projects and assist the Scotland Carbon Manager to develop new carbon opportunities and meet long term carbon code requirements.

This is a Hybrid working role, where you’ll work part of your time at home and part of the time from our Regional Office based in Perth, Scotland. Our Hybrid Working Policy is flexible and the frequency of time spent in your contracted office will vary across teams and job roles. 

This is a 3 year Fixed Term Contract.

THE CANDIDATE
With basic knowledge or experience of working within woodland creation for conservation and carbon outcomes, you’ll have an understanding of estate functions including statutory and legal requirements as well as knowledge of the Woodland Carbon Code, Peatland Code and any upcoming codes in the UK.

You’ll be analytical, self-motivated and proactive and be able to build and nurture effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on multiple projects.
