Kitchen Assistant needed for our in-house I Shine Catering service
We have recently brought our school catering in-house and are looking for a part-time kitchen assistant. The post will be based at the Orion and will provide cover to our sister school, Goldbeaters, as needed.
Our new I Shine Catering is a bespoke service, tailored to suit our children’s nutritional needs
and to fit with our school culture at Orion and Goldbeaters. It serves the children of Grahame Park
at the Orion Primary School and Burnt Oak at Goldbeaters Primary School. We believe that providing high quality, nutritious and tasty food is a great way to help children and adults at our schools feel
good. What children are fed really makes a difference to their ability to learn during the school day. Our catering service is being developed to be a central hub in the school, integrated into all we
do.
Orion and Goldbeaters are housed on two sites but share ‘state of the art’ learning facilities which provide a wonderful set of opportunities for primary aged children. Our two schools are led by
primary head teacher of the year Chris Flathers, and are supported by a great team of dynamic and fun people.
The kitchen provides outstanding food to all our pupils. Our team of great chefs are talented, kind, positive and helpful and they all wear the smart I Shine Catering uniform, provided by the school.
