THE ROLE A fantastic opportunity for a People and Payroll Administrator to join an expanding People Team at The Woodland Trust. The role of People and Payroll Administrator will involve assisting with payroll processing, tracking and advising on probationary periods and absences as well as creating contracts of employment. Alongside this, there will be administration tasks such as monitoring email inboxes, ordering equipment and assisting with reports and spreadsheets. This role is hybrid and therefore will be split between remote working and the Grantham office. There will be an expectation of attendance in the office around twice a month depending on the needs of the team.
THE CANDIDATE You’ll be a confident administrator with strong knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular Word and Excel. You will have he ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information appropriately along with being able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills. Experience in a similar role or in HR is desirable as well working towards or having a CIPD qualification or similar.
