The V&A is the world's greatest museum of art and design, with collections unrivalled in their scope and diversity. We are looking for an experienced professional to help us achieve the highest standards of quality and workmanship, while ensuring the integrity of the Grade I listed buildings.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Estate Management Technician to manage the CAD and Space Planning service in support of the day-to-day operation of the Museum’s Estate and for its ongoing development.  To further provide a CAD service for the rest of the Museum and its appointed consultants for the supply of drawings. To be the principle point of contact for all internal and external requests for buildings and services related drawings and design, ensuring that they comply with the Museum’s standards for CAD stored data. To actively contribute to the design, planning and delivery of space solutions, operating within the Museum's agreed space allocation and utilisation guidelines.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate that you are fully trained and with proven experience in AutoCAD, and have experience of project work, with excellent understanding of project management and the ability to co-ordinate many complex tasks within tight time scales, whilst attending to complex detail, and an individual with an ability to work diligently and autonomously in the progressive refinement of the Museums facilities database and CAD Drawings

Well-developed communication and organisational skills are required as well as a good understanding of IT and competent in the required technical detail.
