Are you a creative thinker with a love of nature, brimming with ideas on how to raise awareness of the nature and climate emergency?

We're looking for a PR Executive to help us grow our brand, raise awareness of our work amongst new audiences and inspire more people to take action for nature.

What's the role about?

You'll have an eye for a good story, the ability to tell it, an inquisitive mind and a 'can do' attitude; someone who can bring a fresh approach to our work. You'll have great interpersonal skills and strong experience of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders as well as a passion for connecting people with our cause. And experience working with brands on unusual partnerships, your finger on the cultural pulse and a flair for experiential PR.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in tackling the nature and climate emergency. You’ll be part of a busy team with an ambitious mission to change how we do things. If you think you have the skills and creativity to help us get cut through, we want to hear from you.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of working in communications, public relations, media, marketing or related fields
  • Able to build strong relationships and respect internally across a broad range of demanding stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills, combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle unanticipated workloads
  • Ability to work at pace, understanding the need to sometimes pivot or change direction at a late stage due to external world factors
  • Creative thinker with a desire to try different approaches
  • Excellent communications - written and verbal
  • Able to communicate complex topics in a clear manner to a range of audiences
  • Working understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, and its application within communications delivery

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Interest in nature conservation and related issues

This is a Permanent role for 37.5 hours per week, which can be conducted flexibly within the UK, with occasional paid travel to our Headquarters in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
