Project Worker – Birkenhead St

£24,135 - £27,648 per annum

37.5 hours pw

Birkenhead St provides accommodation for male and female rough sleepers, most of whom have complex needs such as alcohol misuse, substance misuse, mental health and street based or other kinds of prostitution.

We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic Project Worker to join a team dedicated to providing clients with a safe environment in which to build their confidence, promoting opportunities for positive change and supporting their recovery journey. As the post-holder, you will be working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners and will be responsible for supporting the working shift pattern of the hostel, whilst holding a case load of clients from the hostel.

Flexibility is required, as you’ll be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.

If you believe that you have what we are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless, we would love to hear from you.
