You will be responsible for driving the external supply base to improve and achieve enhanced performance, with a key focus on supplier product, process, Quality and safety performance ultimately leading to robust business partnerships through long-term agreements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the Supplier Quality team, measuring performance and achievement in line with Company Strategy.
  • Co-ordinate initial Quality and technical assessments of new and existing suppliers, carry out supplier audits where required for both UK and overseas supplier sites to determine their capability.
  • Follow up on supplier corrective actions and improve supplier product quality performance.
  • You will have full responsibility for all aspects of Supplier Quality and development. You will present new business proposals and supplier opportunities.

  • Ability to analyse complex issues including root cause assessment, evaluate options and make recommendations with clear supporting rationale.
  • You love data, creating, analysing, and presenting!
