CIS Security Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Parking Attendant to join their team covering Southampton.

About the role:

  • Position: Parking Attendant
  • Location: Southampton
  • Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour
  • Hours: 20 hours per week guaranteed
  • Shifts: 4 hours per day Mon to Fri working flexible shifts of 0800-1200, 1000 – 1400, 1200 – 1600 etc

Job Requirements:

  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Access to own vehicle - must be insured for business when travelling around the site
  • Flexible working is essential the role will require candidates to staggered start times for the 4hr shifts Mon to Fri
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in conflict management & deescalation protocols
  • To provide excellent levels of customer service at all times
  • DBS check will be required prior to starting employment
  • Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
  • Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested

Duties:

  • Issuing parking charges to vehicles contravening the regulations of the car parks managed
  • Using provided company equipment to carry out tasks, Parking Hand Held Device and Printer
  • Carrying out foot patrols on car parks in line with Health & Safety and British Parking Association policies
  • Ensure optimal routes are used and time is managed effectively in order to provide the correct coverage at the correct times
  • Adhere to company policy and procedure at all times
  • Assist motorists with any general queries relating to the car park
  • Advise motorists on correct appeals procedure
  • Courteous and friendly to all members of the public and assist them with any problems they may have
  • Complete Health & Safety Site Surveys
  • Maintain and complete a comprehensive Duty Log
  • Identify and report any failures of parking control equipment
  • Compile a monthly operational performance report for review and present to the client at the monthly meeting
  • A fulfilling role in helping create a positive customer parking experience
