Appointments will not usually be made above point L10 (£29,495) and progression beyond point L10 is subject to the attainment of certain qualifications

Hours:             37 hours per week

Base:              King’s Lynn

You will teach on a variety of courses within the Faculty including English and Art for level 1 learners.  You must have a Degree in an Arts based subject or equivalent and experience of teaching people with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities and experience of Teaching Functional Skills English.  A Level 4 Teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education & Training L4/CTLLS) is essential for this role. You must also have a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE), or equivalent, or be willing to obtain one within the first 3 years of employment.  You must also have Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within the first 18 months of employment.  The ability to travel is essential for this role.
