About Role

Dedicated engagement role working in the Tir Canol team, focussing on connecting people and organisations and supporting them to participate in the Cynnal project hosted by RSPB and supported by Esmée Fairbairn. 


Responsibilities:

  • Undertake agreed activities as directed to deliver the project outputs and objectives in 
    accordance with the project plan.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the project team as directed by the project officer 
    or project manager.
  • Support the coordination of staff, partners, external contractors and volunteers as
    necessary to ensure that actions are delivered to agreed standards of cost, quality and 
    time.
  • Produce relevant project documentation as directed by the project officer or project manager
  • Support the development and delivery of appropriate communication activities such as
    events, media interaction, briefings, talks and production of materials in association with 
    communications colleagues to support the delivery of the project.
  • Organise project meetings as required.
  • Support project reviews.
  • Support the handover to ‘business as usual’ at the end of the project, by conducting any follow 
    on actions as directed by the project officer or project manager.

Essentials:


•    Educated to GCSE level or higher or equivalent.
•    Some knowledge of the theory and practice of delivering a project.
•    Competent IT user (e.g. MS packages, Outlook etc).
•    The ability to communicate about the project passionately.
•    An ability to produce clear written communications.
•    Report writing.
•    Ability to work well as part of a team.
•    Financial reporting, including gathering information for claims.
•    Organising training events and workshops or facilitated discussions and meetings.
•    Experience of producing written materials, newsletters and similar project-related 
•    communications.
•    The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, and an understanding of Welsh names and correct pronunciation is advantageous.

This is a part-time role, working three days per week. Four-year contract - We reserve the right to
extend/make permanent at any time.

You will be part of a friendly, enthusiastic team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working
