About the role

As part of Barnet’s drive for continuous improvement we are looking for an enthusiastic Project Support Officer (Part time). This is an opportunity to join a developing, high profile service in an exciting area of work to provide key administration and support towards safeguarding our children and young people in Barnet. You will be supporting social work teams and the wider partnership in identifying themes around Violence Against Women and Girls.

About you

You will be:

  • Responsible for managing, coordinating and providing administration support to deliver a range of projects and initiatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining a centralised projects repository, assisting in producing regular highlight reports, tracking and monitoring project actions and providing budget monitoring support.
  • Responsible for setting up, booking and coordinating Programme and Project meetings which includes workshops and events and will include recording and taking minutes and actions circulating project documentation to the wider team in preparation for monthly or bi-monthly meetings
  • Support reporting in accordance with the Council's Project Management Methodology with monthly reporting on programmes/projects, budgets, risks and resources.
  • Take part in team activities to devise, develop and plan new ideas for projects
  • Working with project managers to ensure that project work is delivered on time and to scope.

You will work with other social work staff in this friendly, supportive team.
