Scale D 5-6 (£19,312-£19,698 per annum pro-rata) 

Actual salary £1,735-£1,769 per annum

Working hours / days can be negotiated with the school.

The Trustees and Governors of St Clements Hill Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a focus on Outdoor Learning to enhance our already established support team.  

Working as a Teaching Assistant is a great opportunity of gaining experience and is becoming a preferred method for prospective teachers to successfully secure places in either Teaching Schools or on a PGCE course.

As part of the Boudica Schools Trust you will be included in a family of Academies who put the needs of children at the forefront of their education. We are looking for a committed person who is resilient, dedicated, nurturing and patient.

We are looking for candidates who;

  • Understand the impact nature has on children’s development and wellbeing
  • Have experience of delivering Outdoor Education 
  • Are able to relate to and build good relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
  • Use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
  • Are willing to work as part of a team
  • Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
