The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. The next three years will witness extraordinary change at the V&A.  By 2025, two new sites will have opened to the public in East London, together with Young V&A reopening in Bethnal Green.  Our public offer will be richer, our reach wider and our perspective changed to embrace multi-site and public-facing planning, programming and delivery.

As an organisation we will need to think differently, broadening our collective vision for the future and supporting each other, especially where fundamental change is required in how services are delivered.  The V&A’s Finance and Resources division comprises the Finance and Procurement, Technology, People and Redesign teams.  Together as a division we function as enablers for change. We do this through the provision of insight, technology and business support.

Main purpose of job

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Finance and Resources division.  To include EA support for the Directors of Finance and People, together with ad hoc administrative support as required across the Finance, Technology, People and Redesign teams. The post-holder will be part of a busy and committed team and will gain an understanding of a wide range of museum activities.

As well as a broad administration role, the EA support will principally provide diary coordination and minute taking for regular meetings. It is anticipated the postholder will spend approximately 30% of their time supporting the Director of People & Change and the People team; 30% of their time supporting the Director of Finance & Resources and Trustee Committees and 40% of their time supporting the wider division.

Closing date for all applications is 9 February 2023 at 23:59.
