Salary £21,074 - £23,111 (Scale 5 point 22 – 25)

Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks during school holidays

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Input data into SIMS, liaising with teachers to ensure progress tracking is accurate and timely
  • Ensure all data returns are completed accurately and on time including the school census
  • Extract data from SIMS and convert into excel reports to enable further analysis
  • Produce and interpret reports to show trends
  • Check data that is to be published in the DFE Achievement and Attainment Tables
  • Manage the process for collecting student assessment data from teaching staff using our Management Information System (MIS)
  • Produce and distribute individual student reports
  • Use internal analysis systems to provide school leaders with relevant information to enable the implementation of effective pupil intervention strategies
  • Provide analysis of student attainment data for cohorts, subjects, classes and key groups of pupils such as Pupil Premium and SEN
  • Liaise with Office Manager/PA to check accuracy of examination entries
  • Lead exam administration and data analysis
  • Making the necessary arrangements in relation to arranging, administering and timetabling of public and internal examinations
  • Preparing examination timetables, book necessary rooms, prepare seating plans, monitor and check examination papers
  • Providing a timetable to include dates, times, venues and number of students
  • Recruit and organise exam invigilators
  • Resolve exam clashes in accordance with regulations
  • Organising and ensuring safe storage, distribution and dispatch of examination papers
  • Arranging invigilation, including briefing and training invigilators in school procedures
  • Maintaining the SIMS database and producing of data reports for SLT
  • Communication with national examination bodies including processing internally marked coursework/controlled assessments and requesting special consideration when appropriate
  • Submitting entries for external examinations to awarding bodies in advance of deadlines
  • Comply with the regulations of the Joint Council for Qualifications and ensure the integrity of the exams process
  • Prepare for JCQ inspection and ensure policies are up to date.
