Part time, 18 hours per week

Fixed term contract until 31 July 2020

Term time + 1 week

We have an exciting opportunity for a cover supervisor to join our caring and supportive  team at Stradbroke Primary Academy. This would be an ideal post for someone who wants to increase their classroom experience before going on to teacher training.

The role mainly involves covering the planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time for teachers in the school. You will need the flexibility and curriculum knowledge to work with pupils across the primary age range. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, following the direction of the teachers and working under your own initiative when necessary.  You will need excellent time management skills and will be given some time for your own planning and preparation.

We are looking for an inspirational practitioner who is passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, who will also contribute to the vision and values of the school.

You will need to show a commitment to your own continuing professional development and to be proactive in identifying your own needs.  You will have a high level of professionalism and commitment to our core values of:
