Peak is seeking an Nightlife Manager to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has at least three years’ experience in a full-time management position. You will be charged with managing all aspects of late-night operations and ensuring each guest has a positive experience.

In addition to our routine lunch and dinner service Peak has launched a Nightlife service we call Peakaboo. Peakaboo is a late-night lounge party that is hosted at Peak, on the 101st floor of Hudson Yards. It operates Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10.30PM until 2:00AM. We feature champagne, bottle service, craft cocktails and small bites.

Essential Functions

  • Managing the night operations needs of the venue including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, forecasting, and supervising.
  • Perform checkout and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all team members on the night shift are trained in their positions to maximize service, production, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the beverage team to ensure maximum profits, at the highest standards of service and quality, including food production, equipment use and control, beverage service, restaurant/bar service and food and beverage purchasing.
  • Producing creative beverage menu and maintenance and promotions.
  • This position will strategize with Beverage Management to ensure bar and bartenders are set up for success.
  • Maintain clean and excellent condition of lounge.
  • Act respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations.
  • Supervising cash flow and handling bank-related duties
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the lounge/ club
  • Maintain compliance with Peak’s policies, procedures as well as city, state, and federal laws.

Job Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-4 years minimum experience of NYC fine dining industry, including lounge experience
  • Strong knowledge of, wines, bar costs and labor systems
  • Certified Sommelier or WSET is preferred
  • Aloha POS system experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work late nights and weekend
  • Great organizational and communication skills, great training abilities
  • Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication abilities, Bilingual is a plus
  • Patience and empathy; a motivator who leads by example
