We are looking for a strong Sustainability Project Officer to join our busy Regeneration and Community Partnership team at LLDC. You must have a degree qualification or equivalent experience; a background in environmental science or project management would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of providing project, data analysis and communications support to promote environmental sustainability. This is great opportunity to join both the organisation and department; we are looking for an organised individual to support the Head of Strategy and Sustainability and to work with our Sustainability Manager in ensuring the organisation continues to lead the way in environmental sustainability.

Ideally the successful candidate will have knowledge/interest in environmental performance, analysis and communications; a passion for re-use and recycling and promoting sustainability in the built environment would also be desirable. You will need to have good analytical ability and be an excellent communicator with a high working knowledge of Microsoft packages. You must also be familiar and comfortable with project administration and its key principles and processes.

As this role will involve working closely with both internal and external stakeholder the successful candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with individuals at all levels. You should also have the ability to establish credibility with a professional demeanour that generates trust and confidence and capable of resolving differences without conflict.
