The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.3 million objects that span over 5,000 years of human creativity. The museum holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewelry, glass, ceramics, book arts, art and design, theatre and performance.

The People & Change team is integral to supporting the museums’ workforce, alongside its vision, strategy and aspirations.

Main job purpose:

The post holder will provide support to our Reward and Systems Coordinator and an external Project Consultant on a range of System administration tasks, including data cleansing, creating system templates, and transferring employee data files.

This role is part of a wider People Operations team, including People Administrators, Advisors and Business Partners, which is committed to delivering an expert, proactive and effective people support to the museum.

Key responsibilities

  1. Review current employee files (paper and electronic) and scan relevant documents into individual employee records within the Cascade HR system
  2. Coordinate and complete the data cleansing of records within in Cascade HR system to ensure employee records are accurate
  3. Support with creating document templates in Cascade HR system
  4. Communicate your progress with your manager and other internal stakeholders
  5. Work flexibly with colleagues within the People team, to respond to the different and occasionally conflicting demands and deadlines of a busy environment
