Part time (35 hours a week)

Charles Darwin Primary opened in September 2016 and we are continuing to grow. Popular with parents and offering a fresh approach to education in the heart of the historic city of Norwich, we mix an open and modern approach to teaching with a broad academic curriculum.

We are now looking for a dedicated, caring and ambitious classroom assistant to support in making sure that our children are safe, happy, and stimulated. With a minimum of GCSE grade C for English and maths or equivalent, and experience of working in KS1, you’ll encourage children’s development and create a friendly, purposeful environment. Knowledge of the Y2 curriculum would be of benefit but training will be provided if required.

The role involves working in small group situations as well as supporting the teacher in whole class lessons. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, following the direction of the teachers as well as working under your own initiative when necessary.

As part of the Inspiration Trust we are committed to offering excellent professional and learning opportunities for our staff.
