We are a strong, supportive, friendly department and welcome for a highly experienced clinical psychologist to join us.

Barnet is one of the most diverse boroughs in London which provides opportunities and challenges that are rewarding, both professionally and personally. At the heart of this vision is our aim of helping families, children and young people to become resilient so they can thrive and achieve.

The purpose of your role will be to work alongside Social Care colleagues in the Assessment, Intervention and Planning Teams. You will provide highly specialised clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions, working as part of an integrated clinical team delivering wrap-around services to children, young people and adolescents presenting with complex risk and vulnerabilities and their immediate families and wider support systems. We value and encourage your continuing professional development and will support you with leadership from the Clinical Lead, supervision from the Clinical Manager and peer support from the other clinical practitioners. We offer excellent specialist CPD and training opportunities. The department has established strong working relationships with colleagues in Children’s Social Care. In addition, you will have ample opportunities to work with partner agencies such as Barnet’s Tier 3 NHS Specialist CAMHS, other community and voluntary services.
