Associate Lecturer in IT (Bank) - Catch Up Sessions

At Crawley College we have established a thriving IT Academy for the delivery of our Media and IT curriculum. The area is looking for an inspiring, innovative, dynamic Bank IT Lecturer to support and develop the area to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment. You will be required to undertake teaching, and related duties that fully support students throughout their learning journey and provide them with a high quality learning experience. A significant collaboration with local employers is envisaged to support the students’ career development. 

The College has developed a multi-million pound facility at Crawley College that will put the College at the cutting edge of training delivery in STEM. The new building will be home to a suite of modern teaching and interactive spaces that will be used to integrate the use of technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) in to its curriculum. You will work with the team to actively contribute to the design and development of the curriculum within the IT Academy. Above all, we are looking for someone with a real passion for educating the future workforce.

You must have proven organisational and communication skills. You will also have experience of meeting the needs and expectations of the learners. You must be committed to equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding. Relevant industry experience in Media will be advantageous and you will hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification. Knowledge of BTEC would be an advantage however you will be encouraged and supported in developing your role here at the College.
