The Communications, Marketing and Events Unit translates the corporate strategy into impactful messages and narratives and delivers them to key audiences through marketing campaigns, media relations, digital communications, social media, events, and publications. Its objectives are to communicate the value of the EBU to its Members and to key stakeholders such as sports federations, national and EU decision-makers and other influencers. The unit also markets the value of Public Service Media to a wider audience.
The Communications, Marketing and Events Unit is looking for a Communications Coordinator.
The Communications Coordinator provides administrative support, project support and coordination in the following areas: media relations, branding, events and translation. She/he plays a major role in the day-to-day office operations, and in implementing changes or enhancements to procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
She/he reports into the Head of Communications, Marketing and Events, working in close contact with the managers in the unit.
Profile Specific Qualifications and Experience: - General coordination, project and administration skills - Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks - Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in French - Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills - Used to working in a fast-paced environment, with short deadlines
- Eight + years of experience as an office manager / project coordinator in an international environment
Languages: Proficient in English and French
