Our Project at Hope Gardens, is looking to recruit a Project Worker to join the team. Hope Gardens is 27 bed supported accommodation project for people that are homeless with medium to high needs specialising in substance misuse. We work within a psychologically informed framework and work with residents with a personalised approach and with a focus on their strengths and assets.
Your role will involve undertaking key working activities such as referrals/interviews/booking in clients and housing management activities such as finances, resettlement, health and wellbeing. You will also assist our clients to develop and care for themselves by providing advice and guidance on personal development and relevant life skills.
To succeed, you will either have personal experience of homelessness or a sound understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people. You should also possess good interpersonal and listening skills; in order to be able to establish an effective working relationship with clients and an eagerness to learn and work with clients in a holistic and client-centred approach.
Flexibility is required, as you will be working a shift rota.
