Job Title: Business / Stock Administrator

The Role:

This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and growing organisation as an apprentice, with training and support provided by AVT Reliability (part of the AES Group).  The role is based at AVT Reliability Headquarters in Warrington. The purpose is to provide assistance and support to the Development Manager in the control of Machine Sentry Stock. Machine Sentry is used by customers worldwide to monitor machines and structures.

Duties will include:

  • Create and administer work orders
  • Order / purchase stock to ensure availability
  • Responsible for control of stock through regular stock checks
  • Order picking and checking
  • UK and international dispatch of goods
  • Liaising with customers where appropriate
  • Some basic product assembly will be required and equipment configuration
  • General administration including process of returns and booking and tracking equipment
  • Full training and support provided for working towards achieving the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

Skills Required:

  • Good standard of Secondary level education (GCSE grade 5 or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Microsoft Package (Word and Excel) skills

Although a mainly administration and stock control role, some technical / mechanical aptitude or interest is desirable as some equipment configuration forms part of the role

The successful candidate will study a L3 Business Administrator. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:

37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 30 minute break

£192.00 Per Week
