This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR and Training professional to join our forward thinking and hard-working People Services team, in providing support to our offender learning provision. We are all committed to providing a comprehensive service to support our staff in building a truly outstanding education institution.

The ideal candidate will have resolved complex and challenging Employee Relation issues in a methodical and timely manner. You will be dedicated to supporting and advising our Education Managers and their teams within the prisons and Young Offender Institutes across a variety of locations. You will have a positive attitude, be values driven and have the energy and drive to make a real impact within the organisation.

This is a demanding but rewarding role where no two days are ever the same. As the successful candidate you will be joining a forward thinking employer and a leading organisation within the OLASS provision.

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Must have proven experience of large scale restructures
  • Proven experience within a generalist Human Resources environment
  • Be an assertive decision maker in Employee Relation matters
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office and HRIS
  • Experience in advising staff at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisation skills

Location: Regional role, based in Milton Keynes for 2 days, 3 days in the region (South central or The Midlands)

Salary: circa £34,600 per annum,

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
