Looking for an exciting new Social Care role?

With social work practice development and improvement at the heart of our core priorities within Family Services in Barnet, the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to help develop and support ‘outstanding’ child focused social work across the workforce. Using an appreciative inquiry approach, we identify best practice and areas for development for our managers and practitioners through reflective learning opportunities.

If you can demonstrate your knowledge of what ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ social work practice looks like, can undertake audits and help others to critically evaluate, reflect upon practice and support wider organisational learning, then this exciting role is for you. 

This is a permanent position and the post holder will have a strong background in social care practice, with a well-developed knowledge base of the components for excellent social work practice through demonstrating creative and flexible approaches to evaluating, monitoring and improving practice. This post would suit an experienced, qualified Social Worker or Social Work Manager
