Project Worker – Islington Substance Use Team
£24,135 - £27,648 per annum
37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Islington Substance Use Team for a Project Worker to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. The service provides 47 accommodation units across three projects based in Islington: Tufnell Park, Rosebery Avenue and Wharton Street for men and women with a history of substance use and related support needs.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar environment and an understanding of the needs of homeless people, especially those with complex needs. Enthusiasm, a team player and a can do and a non - judgemental approach are essential for the successful post holder. In order to be able to establish an effective working relationship with clients, you should also possess good interpersonal and listening skills. Good numeracy, I.T and written communication skills; which will include report writing and producing support plans are also required.
