Wedding & Events Co-ordinator - L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, Jersey - Channel Islands
Are you a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator looking for a new stunning location to sell? Would you like to live and work on the sunny island of Jersey?
As a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator you will work as part of our small revenue office team.
You will be responsible for meeting clients, conducting show rounds and converting enquiries in to bookings before collating and recording all requirements on our system, communicating with event organisers and liaising with the management team to ensure a seamless transition of information from the office team to the operational team who will run the events on the day.
Previous experience in the role and experience of Opera is desirable. However we will also consider applications from similar sales roles or candidates looking to move from another guest facing department within a Hotel.
This role involves working 40 hours per week over 5 days to include some weekend days and late shifts on a rota basis.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without any visa sponsorship.
About you:
- You have sales or guest facing hospitality experience
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, giving you the ability to convert enquiries in to bookings
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail, vital for ensuring every event is a success and runs smoothly
- You will have high standards of personal presentation able to confidently represent the Hotel and its high standards
- You have the ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a friendly, warm genuine and approachable manner
