Project Worker – Islington (Holloway Road)

£24,135 - £27,648 per annum

37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Islington Ex-Offenders Service for a Project Worker to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The service provides 47 accommodation units across four projects based in Islington offering medium / high support to men with a history of offending behaviour. The client group may also have additional support needs including substance use, mental health or physical health. This role is based out of Holloway Road.

As the post-holder, you will be working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners and will be responsible for supporting the working shift pattern of the hostel, whilst holding a case load of clients from the hostel.

The successful candidate will have some experience working within a similar environment and a good understanding of the needs of homeless people, especially those with complex needs. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player, with a positive attitude and non-judgemental approach are essential for the successful post holder. Flexibility is required as you will work a rota with a mixture of early, middle and late shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse service providing support to clients with varying needs.
