We are seeking a Photographer to join the Photographic Studio to photograph the V&A Collections in Blythe House, Olympia.

The Photographic studio has two teams, Object Photography and Digital Management. These teams supply photography of the museum’s collections to support the museum’s objectives. The V&A is seeking to employ a photographer to work within the Object Photography Team. They will be based primarily in the museum’s Blythe House studios and stores. 

 

The collection of the V&A is both varied and large and the post holder will be expected to be both versatile and to be able to respond quickly and efficiently to cope with a wide variety of cultural objects. The post will contribute to the photography of the collection for V&A collection documentation. Candidates will have a recognised photographic qualification, a portfolio of professional work and be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of imaging software. They will be expected to become part of a team and to be able to work both under supervision and under their own initiative.
