We are currently seeking Barcoding Assistants, Barcoding Remediation Project to be based full time at Blythe House.

These posts will be based at Blythe House, the V&A’s collection store in West Kensington, London, where you will be working as part of a dedicated barcoding support team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to support a large-scale collection move project by handling, checking barcodes and renewing barcodes where required prior to the collections move. These posts will work alongside the Collections Move Officers auditing the collection. 

These posts will provide essential support to the Collections Move Manager and play an important role in ensuring that our collections are accurately barcoded and ready and safe to move. Your duties will be hands on with collections, working across a wide range of different types of objects which require new barcodes. This key strand of work will help ensure that our collections have accurate locations enabling them to be packed and moved safely.
