This role combines strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring our technology infrastructure not only meets today's needs but also anticipates future opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Strategic Visionary: Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with and propel business goals forward, especially in utilising Microsoft Dynamics to optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Rational problem-solving, navigating complex scenarios, making informed conclusions, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Communication and Influence: Articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
  • Risk Management and Cybersecurity Awareness: Risk management and cybersecurity practices, ensuring the integrity and security of IT systems and data.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key vendors, such as Microsoft, and engage with stakeholders across the business to align IT initiatives with company goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring investments are aligned with business priorities and deliver maximum ROI.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, with a strong background in system integration, data management, and analytics. Familiarity with the latest in technology trends and their application in manufacturing.
  • Team Development: The ability to mentor, motivate, and drive teams towards achieving exceptional results. Experience in building team capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Experience in managing large-scale IT projects, from conception through to delivery, within budget and time constraints.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory landscape affecting the manufacturing industry and the ability to navigate and comply with these requirements.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Forward-thinking with a passion for innovation and adapting to embrace and model change in a fast-paced environment.
