TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information to make travel easier for everyone. The Metrolink network has tripled in size since 2010 and is the biggest network of its kind in the UK. TfGM’s Metrolink Team work closely with the operator to drive customer satisfaction and grow patronage to an annual 43 million journeys.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide effective and efficient secretarial support to the Head of Metrolink and the Metrolink Team. The role will support a very busy function in the provision of administration support, the coordination of meetings with various internal and external parties and will support efficient departmental reporting. The role will also provide procurement and purchasing administration, document control and complaints handling.

You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver with demonstrable skills in managing varied workloads and conflicting priorities. You will need to demonstrate experience of delivering administrative support and reporting and knowledge of developing and documenting operational processes. You must be confident in the use of multiple software applications, including a document management system. It is essential you can work well in a team structure and you are able to facilitate activities across a diverse range of people within and outside the Metrolink Team.

This role is a job share for 22.5 hours per week, working across 3 full days. The specific working pattern will be agreed on appointment.

The salary range for this role is £21,214 to £22,947. Salary will be pro rata based on the part time hours. Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
