We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated teacher to join us at our new school in Great Yarmouth, Bure Park Specialist Academy. Bure Park will be a sister school to Eaton Hall Specialist Academy in Norwich which has been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted for over ten years.
This is a newly built residential special school for boys with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. It will, over its first two years, grow to 88 pupils.
The successful candidate will initially teach a mixed KS3 secondary class made up of pupils from years 7, 8 and 9. As the school grows this will move to individual secondary year groups and subject specialisms. This role would ideally suit either a secondary teacher with experience of teaching a range of subjects or a teacher with experience of upper primary. The successful candidate will be reflective, innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to be part of a highly motivated exceptional team who strive to establish the highest standards and who are instrumental in ensuring that we change children’s lives.
Bure Park will also be a residential provision for pupils between Year 4 and Year 8. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the school’s twin aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and when appropriate mainstream school.
