Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Base for ASD
Salary Scale F £22,183 - £24,491  
Full time (37 hours per week), permanent
Term time plus one week  
Starting As soon as possible

Thetford Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible higher level teaching assistant to support our pupils achieve.  This position will be based in our new Specialist Resource Base (SRB) for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  The SRB opens to pupils in newly refurbished accomodation in January 2021.

We are looking for a dedicated, caring and ambitious HLTA to support our children to be safe, happy, and stimulated. Experience of supporting in a classroom environment or of leading small groups of children would be an advantage, as would knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD.

We believe that all students should be able to achieve the best outcomes, regardless of their backgrounds and that this happens through high standards of teaching and provision. You will share this view and understand the importance of this, alongside supporting our high expectations of student behaviour.
