London
£22,037 - £24,389 per annum
35 hrs per week
As a Night Worker in one of St Mungo's London services you will provide overnight waking cover.
You will be responsible for appropriately dealing with any emergency situations that arise during your shift and writing handover notes for the daytime workers. You will also carry out administrative tasks, hourly building checks and monitor issues like noise in the locality and within the building. You will have good communication skills with the ability to respond and interact effectively with residents and colleagues. You will also have experience in following administrative procedures and maintaining clear and accurate records. Being reliable, awake and alert at all times during your shift and acting with integrity is expected, as is using your initiative and staying calm in the event of an emergency.
Flexibility is required, as you’ll be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays. On occasions you will also be expected to come in during the day to attend training, participate in supervision, team meetings and other activities as required.
In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, childcare, cycle and eye care voucher schemes. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities in support of their personal and professional development
