Do you have what it takes to oversee the daily housekeeping challenge of a 400 bedroom luxury hotel? As Executive Housekeeper at one of Europe’s finest golf, leisure and business resorts, you will thrive on the buzz and excitement of this prestigious venue, facilitating the daily operation of the busy housekeeping department.

As Executive Housekeeper you are responsible for the overall management of the department and the 10 newly built luxury Hunter Lodges. With an exciting expansion programme in place your role will continue to evolve. Your strong housekeeping management background, interpersonal skills and experience of working in a four or five star high volume environment will ensure that you have all the skills necessary to deal with the pressures of day-to-day housekeeping issues.

We are looking for a proactive, results-orientated manager with a hands-on approach and the ability to inspire and lead a team of approximately 60 people. You will provide monitoring and coaching as appropriate to maintain the exceptional standards of service and high morale of the department. A passion for the luxury hotel industry is essential, as is a strong character to deal with the day-to-day pressures.

As Executive Housekeeper you will contribute to the department strategy through support and implementation of directives set by the Rooms Division Director. You will also manage a budget and make decisions which will directly affect the profitability of your area of responsibility. Knowledge of the Opera computer system would be a distinct advantage.

Salary
£38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)
