About LLDC

We are absolutely committed to better reflecting the communities we serve in east London, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about this too. We’re keen to hear how your work and lived experience make you suitable for this role and we’d especially welcome applications from people based in our local communities, and those from traditionally under-represented groups.

We’re very proud of our inclusive culture at LLDC – we care as much as about what you have the potential to do as what you have already done, and we want to hear how you will give us a better representation of the perspectives of those we are here to serve.

Who we are

London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is the organisation that the Mayor of London has set up to drive the regeneration of the area of east London around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

To do all this we work with our wider family within the GLA group (including the Greater London Authority and Transport for London) and use our shared resources across our group.  Your role will therefore be central to our mission as an organisation as well as the other group organisations.

The London Legacy Development Corporation is also working with its partners in delivering East Bank – a new powerhouse of culture, education, innovation and growth – bringing Sadler’s Wells, BBC Music and the V&A as well as UAL's London College of Fashion and University College London to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

As a Mayoral Development Corporation, our powers and responsibilities will evolve, and from the end of 2024 continuing responsibilities will be picked up by successor arrangements, this could be an existing organisation, or one set up specifically to take this work forward (this is referred to as Transition).
