Westminster, London
30hrs per week
As a Cook/ Cleaner you will be working in a large house in Westminster that provides support and accommodation for 18 people. Your role will be to cook dinner each evening and help keep the project clean and tidy. You will be part of a team who are committed to creating an inclusive, therapeutic and homely environment. Therefore a willingness to support and listen to vulnerable people, dealing with homelessness and mental health issues will be highly valued.
To succeed you should have experience of cooking meals for groups of people and an ability to be creative and innovative with sometimes limited ingredients and budget. You should also have experience of cleaning within a large residential environment and of general cleaning practices. Active listening skills and good interpersonal skills are also required, as you will be interacting with clients and sometimes engaging them in the cooking processes.
In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, childcare, cycle and eye care voucher schemes. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.
