Achievement and Exams Assistant

Salary: £19,124 - £19,457 per annum Post Ref: 740002 Hours: 37 Hours per week. Applications for 30 hours and above will also be considered. Base: King’s Lynn   You will ensure that the College’s achievement, attainment and examination records are complete, accurate and up to date and co-ordinate external examinations and invigilator support. Lecturer in Travel and Tourism

This is a temporary post to cover maternity available from January 2022. The successful candidate will teach travel and tourism on vocational 16-18 study programmes at Level 1 and level 2. The role may also include teaching on our air cabin crew course and/or Business studies depending skills and experience. You must have a relevant degree in Travel and Tourism, Management. Experience in the travel and tourism industry and experience of teaching, training and working in schools, further or higher education is preferred. Programme Manager - Construction

Salary: £38,401 - £41,746 per annum Post Ref: 515002 Base: King’s Lynn Hours: 37 hours per week You will lead, organise and manage the curriculum, staff, students and resources within the programme area and actively support the College drive to excellence through continuous improvement. You must have proven successful practice as a lecturer or curriculum manager post 16 education/ training, including apprenticeships. Part Time Hourly Paid 16-19 Tutors (Catch-up Tuition Fund)

Salary:            £19.16 per hour inclusive of holiday pay         Post Ref:        TUTIONFUND Base:              King’s Lynn/Wisbech/Cambridge Hours:            Variable As a result of the pandemic The College of West Anglia has received funding to support students who have missed learning opportunities over the last 12 months. This funding is given to us to support eligible students, aged 16 to 19 years old, who were particularly affected, by the disruption to their learning arising from COVID-19. The funding is specifically to be used to provide small group tuition for students. For students who are eligible, the extra tuition will cover a range of needs including catch up on all aspects of course work, English and Mathematics, and support with developing practical skills in vocational areas. Additionally, all supported students must also be on a 16 to19 study programme. All students accessing this support need to be those students who have not achieved a grade 5, or above, in English or Maths by the age of 16.  You must have a relevant Level 3 qualification or above or substantial vocational experience You must also have Level 2 English and Maths, equivalent (GCSE A*-C/9-4), or willingness to gain. Recent industry experience in a relevant area is essential for this role.
